Hello! Welcome to Volume 2 of my New York Comic Con Book Haul. This post will feature all the ARCs (advanced reader copies) I received at Comic Con. Woooooo-hoooo I have so many to show you so I will go straight into it. Please note that the title of each book will lead you to the Goodreads page.

If you haven’t checked Volume 1 of this haul and would like to, then click here.

This one goes in it’s own separate photo because they were not promoting this book at all. On the twitter page it said “stop by booth ___ and say the password ‘Jabberwock’ for a Heartless t-shirt”…I had screenshot the tweet and sent it to Lilly because they were promoting the shirt the day I couldn’t go. She had sent me a photo of the box that says “Open Me” and there was an ARC!!!! AHHHHHHH!!! We were so not expecting that at all. If you don’t know, Marissa Meyer is the author of The Lunar Chronicles (Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, Winter, etc.)

  1. Ooooh, The Hidden People.. I wonder what you’ll make of this one… I read it not so long ago… writing is brill but plot dragged for me a bit… hmm… exciting times ahead with plenty of reviews from you 🙂

  2. Oh wow these are some amazing ARCs. It must have been great managing to get the Heartless one, especially if all you thought you were going to get was the t-shirt (which is also really nice). Some of these books are on the top of my to-read list for when they’re released (mainly RoseBlood and Bloodrose Rebellion(it would be Heartless as well but I managed to get an ARC from NetGalley)) so I will be keeping my eyes glued to your blog waiting to see your reviews so I can get an idea of what they’re like.
Seems like you have a lot of books to get through now. Happy reading! 😀

  3. Oh my God I need all of this! 😍 Lilly sent me Gilded Cage, The Devil Crept In, and Curious Minds. She’s such a sweetie pie. ❤️ I will be reading these books shortly. And that Heartless t-shirt. 🙌 All of this is so awesome. I need to go to Comic Con next year. I’m convinced I need Book Con next year as well. It’s my excuse to come back home. Florida is hot and I need my East Coast peeps back. 🙂 I’m so meeting up with you and Lilly at the convention. I’ll probably fly in for the weekend. The idea of running around to different stands with books is so exciting. 😜

  4. So many gorgeous ARCs 😍. I’m definitely jealous of that Heartless ARC and shirt haha. Also, I sent in a request to the publisher for RoseBlood this evening so fingers crossed! I wish more bookish events were held near me. I want to try to go to BEA next year but don’t know if I’ll be able to swing it. The cons of living all the way in Texas and airfare being expensive. 😢

      • I hope so too. *obsessively checks email* 😂
I was going to go this year but it’s 4+ hours from me so even that’s a bit far. And I didn’t have a way to get there, sadly. I live in the middle of nowhere lol. Hopefully I can figure something out with BEA because it would be awesome to go and maybe meet some of you guys. 😄
