6 Month Blogiversary International ARC Giveaway

I really can’t believe I’ve been blogging for 6 months and it has been one of the most happiest times in my life since I took the leap with creating a blog. With all that’s going on in the world lately, I’m happy with my safe place and that I can escape here.

I’m so happy that I have gotten the chance to meet all of you!!! I also took the leap of publishing some of my poetry which has gotten a great response and words aren’t enough to express my gratitude for all the compliments I receive, ironically. I blush so hard when I read your comments. If you want to check all my published poetry, click here!

I have learned so much within these 6 months of blogging through all of you, plus my TBR has been filled with books I have never even heard of lol. I have seen the difference in my post from my first month of blogging to now and I’m just really happy!

I also need to give a special shout out to my book bestie Lilly @ Lair Of Books. Just follow her already. We’ve been in this journey of blogging together and she has definitely helped me when she didn’t even realize it. Between showing me post of how to make the blogs better, us facetiming one another in the middle of the night positioning our banners of our sites, and being there for me when I needed a friend. I’m so happy she’s apart of my life.

I would also like to shout out other bloggers who post amazing content:

Now on to the giveaway!!! This is an international giveaway. I am picking three people for the three books I am giving away.

Rules:

  • Follow me =)
  • Comment on this post that you want to enter and the book you would like
  • You have to be comfortable with emailing me your address in case you win

Here are the books:

I received these books at New York Comic Con/BookCon. Gilded Cage was an extra copy and the other two books, I know for a fact that I will not be reading them and I don’t want to hold onto books that someone else wants to read and may enjoy =)

The Hidden People by Alison Littlewood:

The bestselling author of Richard & Judy Book Club hit The Cold Season returns with a chilling mystery – where superstition and myth bleed into real life with tragic consequences

Pretty Lizzie Higgs is gone, burned to death on her own hearth – but was she really a changeling, as her husband insists? Albie Mirralls met his cousin only once, in 1851, within the grand glass arches of the Crystal Palace, but unable to countenance the rumours that surround her murder, he leaves his young wife in London and travels to Halfoak, a village steeped in superstition.

Albie begins to look into Lizzie’s death, but in this place where the old tales hold sway and the ‘Hidden People’ supposedly roam, answers are slippery and further tragedy is just a step away .

Gilded Cage (Dark Gifts #1) by Vic James:

Not all are free. Not all are equal. Not all will be saved.

Our world belongs to the Equals — aristocrats with magical gifts — and all commoners must serve them for ten years. But behind the gates of England’s grandest estate lies a power that could break the world.

A girl thirsts for love and knowledge.

Abi is a servant to England’s most powerful family, but her spirit is free. So when she falls for one of the noble-born sons, Abi faces a terrible choice. Uncovering the family’s secrets might win her liberty, but will her heart pay the price?

A boy dreams of revolution.

Abi’s brother, Luke, is enslaved in a brutal factory town. Far from his family and cruelly oppressed, he makes friends whose ideals could cost him everything. Now Luke has discovered there may be a power even greater than magic: revolution.

And an aristocrat will remake the world with his dark gifts.

He is a shadow in the glittering world of the Equals, with mysterious powers no one else understands. But will he liberate—or destroy?

Curious Minds (Knight and Moon #1) by Janet Evanovich and Phoef Sutton:

Emerson Knight is introverted, eccentric, and has little to no sense of social etiquette. Good thing he’s also brilliant, rich, and (some people might say) handsome, or he’d probably be homeless. Riley Moon has just graduated from Harvard Business and Harvard Law. Her aggressive Texas spitfire attitude has helped her land her dream job as a junior analyst with mega-bank Blane-Grunwald. At least Riley Moon thought it was her dream job, until she is given her first assignment: babysitting Emerson Knight.

What starts off as an inquiry about missing bank funds in the Knight account leads to inquiries about a missing man, missing gold, and a life-and-death race across the country. Through the streets of Washington, D.C., and down into the underground vault of the Federal Reserve in New York City, an evil plan is exposed. A plan so sinister that only a megalomaniac could think it up, and only the unlikely duo of the irrepressibly charming Emerson Knight and the tenacious Riley Moon can stop it.

  7. You’ve only been a blogger for six months. What?!?! No way! Get out of here! 😲 I thought it was way longer. Thanks for the shout out, girl! 😘 You already know how much I love your poetry and your blog, and of course, you! Hugs! Keep em’ coming! Love it! 🙌 I’m so glad you decided to share your poetry. It’s pretty scary sharing your work with the world, right? I know the first time I posted a short story and poem on my blog I cringed. Lilly sent me 2/3 of the books. Isn’t Lilly the best? ❤️ I’m going with The Hidden People. Did you guys read Gilded Cage yet. I have an ebook and physical copy and I’m torn when to read it. It was such a weird thing that the publisher contacted me directly to see if I wanted to read the book. I just about died of shock.
